New shows announced

Nous sommes fiers d'annoncer que Augury débutera l'année 2014 avec deux spectacles qui s'annoncent mémorables.

D'abord, le Vendredi 7 février nous prendrons d'assaut la légendaire scène des Foufounes Électriques, que nous aurons l'honneur de partager avec certains de nos plus illustres confrères de la scène metal québécoise. La soirée débutera avec Contemplator (qui inclut nos amis Antoine Baril et Christian Pacaud) suivis de Terramobil (Forest + Mathieu et Alex d'Unhuman) et ensuite les très bien nommés Unhuman poursuivront le massacre dans la joie et l'allégresse! Le lendemain 8 février, l'action se transportera au Bar-COOP l'Agitée (251 Dorchester, Québec), cette fois avec Contemplator et d'autres invités.

Augury en est à finaliser l'écriture et la préproduction du troisième album. Des surprises sont à prévoir...


We are proud to announce that Augury will start the year 2014 with pair of performances that are expected to be remembered. On February 7th, we will first take over Foufounes Électriques legendary stage, which we are proud to share with some of our finest brothers of Quebec Metal. The evening will kick off with Contemplator (with our friends Antoine Baril and Christian Pacaud) followed with Terramobil (Forest + Mat and Alex from Unhuman) and then the aptly named Unhuman will carry on the massacre with joy and cheerfulness! The next day, February 8th, the action will move to Quebec City, at Bar-COOP l'Agitée (251 Dorchester, Québec), that time with Contemplator and other artists.

Augury is in the process of completing the writing and preproduction of the third album. More surprises to come...

Augury in the Montreal Gazette

Augury was featured in an article about Heavy MTL from the Montreal Gazette.

Al Katrina:

Montreal’s Augury delivered a strong technical death set, perfectly blending sonic violence with musical virtuosity, like sheet music stuffed into an open wound. And Sweden’s Viking-themed melodeath band Amon Amarth played their standard rousing longship anthems.
